Dashboard Overview
A tour of the Shaped Gallery admin menu and what each screen is for.
Everything outside the block editor lives under the Shaped Gallery item in your WordPress admin menu.
The menu

Dashboard, Saved Galleries, Settings and About Us are one page with four tabs — switching between them doesn't reload.
Administrators only
All of these need manage_options. An Editor can build and place galleries in the editor, but won't see this menu.
The Dashboard tab
The welcome screen, and the fastest way to start something.
Build Beautiful Galleries in Minutes offers two buttons, and both open a page rather than a reusable gallery:

| Create New Gallery | Opens a new page with an empty Shaped Gallery block on it, so the layout picker is the first thing you see. |
| Use Ready Patterns | Opens a new page with the Ready Patterns library already showing. |
"Create New Gallery" here is not "Add New Gallery" in the menu
They do different things, on purpose.
- Create New Gallery (this button) → a gallery on a page. No shortcode involved.
- Add New Gallery (menu item) → a reusable gallery with a permanent shortcode.
Use the button when the gallery belongs to a page. Use the menu item when it needs to appear in more than one place, or in a page builder. More →
The Use Ready Patterns button only appears when the Ready Patterns module is on — pointing at a screen that won't appear would be worse than not offering it.
The Help Center
The Help Center in the dashboard header collects the outbound links: What's New, Documentation, Technical Support, Video Tutorials, Public Roadmap, Request a Feature, Blog, and Join Community.
